Stupid Americans

American taxpayers are shelling out tens of thousands of dollars to pay the Guatemalan government for housing and detaining illegal aliens caught in Mexico. The illegals, from various countries including China and India sit on mattresses all day in holding cells playing cards & wondering what's going on. Most were trying to sneak into the U.S. by going through Mexico.
"Guatemala doesn't mind, because the U.S. is paying the bill. Between Oct. and Dec. last year, the U.S. Embassy in Guatemala paid out $3o,00o for care and feeding of the would-be migrants whose home countries are so callous or incompetent they won't provide the
travel documents necesessary to take the illegals back where they belong.
Last year in Honduras the US paid $173,000 to house and deport nearly 600 smuggled illegals who doubtless would have been allowed by Central American governments to sneak into the U.S. if not paid to detain them.
